Every September, the sound of motorcycles takes over the Lake as riders from across the country arrive for one of the area's biggest annual events.

Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest returns September 15–20, 2026, celebrating its 20th year with six days of scenic rides, live music, motorcycle events, local restaurants, entertainment, vendors and plenty of opportunities to explore the Lake of the Ozarks.

Whether you're planning an entire week at the Lake or just coming down for the weekend, here's what you need to know about Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest 2026.

When Is Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest 2026?

Dates: Tuesday, September 15 – Sunday, September 20, 2026

Unlike a traditional motorcycle rally held at one fairground or venue, Bikefest takes place throughout the Lake of the Ozarks area.

Events and participating businesses can be found across communities including Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, Camdenton and the west side of the Lake, giving riders plenty of reasons to get out and explore.

The rally itself is free to attend, although individual concerts, activities, food, merchandise or special events may have their own costs.

What Is Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest?

Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest began in 2006 and has grown into one of the area's signature fall events.

The Lake makes a natural setting for a motorcycle rally. Winding roads, rolling Ozark hills, lake views and dozens of waterfront destinations create plenty to see between stops.

For 2026, Bikefest organizers are promoting:

• 300+ biker-friendly bars and restaurants
• Motorcycle builders and vendors
• Bikefest Passport Run
• Motorcycle giveaways
• Scenic mapped rides throughout the Ozarks
• Poker runs and organized rides

2026 Bikefest Events & Live Music

One of the biggest parts of Bikefest is the number of events happening throughout the week.

The 2026 schedule includes live music, organized rides, poker runs, contests, food and drink specials and entertainment at locations around the Lake.

A few events already scheduled for 2026 include:

Tuesday, September 15

Bikefest kicks off Tuesday with events around the Lake, including a Poker Run beginning at Leprechaun's Corner in Camdenton.

Live entertainment is also scheduled throughout the afternoon and evening, including performances at the Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson tent and The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar.

Wednesday, September 16

Wednesday brings another Poker Run, this time beginning at Shady Gators, along with live music at several Bikefest locations.

Events are scheduled throughout Osage Beach, Lake Ozark, Camdenton and surrounding areas.

Thursday, September 17

One of Thursday's featured events is the Charity Ride with Rusty Wallace, beginning at Leprechaun's Corner.

The ride gives participants an opportunity to hit the road alongside NASCAR legend and 2026 Bikefest Grand Marshal Rusty Wallace while supporting a charitable cause.

Live entertainment and additional Bikefest activities continue throughout the day and evening.

Friday & Saturday

Bikefest activity typically ramps up heading into the weekend, with entertainment happening across the Lake.

Friday and Saturday feature live music, Bikefest activities, Passport Run stops, vendors and events at participating businesses.

Saturday night, for example, Hells Bells is scheduled to perform at Camden on the Lake Resort.

Because additional events can be added or adjusted, visitors should check the official Bikefest schedule before heading out each day.

Scenic Motorcycle Rides Around Lake of the Ozarks

Bikefest isn't only about the stops.

Some of the best parts of the week happen between them.

The Lake of the Ozarks area is surrounded by winding highways, smaller backroads, rolling hills and scenic overlooks that make Central Missouri especially fun to explore on two wheels.

Bikefest has several official mapped routes for riders looking to venture beyond the main event areas.

Boone's Lick State Historic Site Ride

Approximately 184 miles

A longer ride for anyone wanting to spend a good portion of the day exploring Missouri roads beyond the Lake.

The "Ozark" Ride

Approximately 140 miles

This route includes the surrounding Ozark countryside and takes riders toward the Bennett Spring area.

Osage River Loop

Approximately 100 miles

A great option if you want a scenic ride without committing to an all-day route.

Bridal Cave Ride

Approximately 108 miles

This route gives riders another opportunity to explore the roads surrounding Lake of the Ozarks and the Camdenton area.

Whichever route you choose, give yourself extra time during Bikefest week. Roads and popular destinations can be considerably busier than a normal September weekend.

Where Does Bikefest Take Place?

There's no single Bikefest venue — and that's part of what makes the event different.

Activities are spread throughout the Lake of the Ozarks.

You'll find Bikefest events at restaurants, bars, resorts, dealerships and entertainment venues across the area.

Osage Beach
One of the Lake's busiest commercial areas and home to restaurants, shopping, lodging and Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson.

Lake Ozark & the Bagnell Dam Strip
One of the most recognizable parts of the Lake, with restaurants, bars, shops and easy access to numerous Bikefest destinations.

Horseshoe Bend
Home to several popular lakefront entertainment and resort destinations.

Camdenton
A great jumping-off point for scenic riding and events on the southern side of the Lake.

West Side of the Lake
Sunrise Beach, Laurie and nearby communities provide access to restaurants, lakefront stops and miles of scenic roads.

Because Bikefest covers such a large area, planning your stops by location can save quite a bit of riding time.
